Happy 4th Birthday Sami

What an awesome day as we celebrated our Precious Boy's Fourth Birthday! Can't believe that four years have passed already ... Like wow, where did the time go!
He loved his gifts ... Now he can be outside when it is raining without getting wet in his new tent cot. When he is inside, he loves his new pod!

There simply is not a birthday without birthday candles ... Blow your candles out Sami.

Top it off with S'Mores and Fireworks for mom and dad ... Can't get any better than that!
Thank you Lord Jesus for our precious gift - We Love you Sami -

Hairballs Conquered

If you are having problems with your cat vomiting up Hairballs, I have good news! We finally have conquered those horrible Hairballs!

Our precious boy, Sami had been suffering with a Hairball issue for a long time; He would vomit up Hairballs once a week and sometimes it would cause him to have diarrhea. Sami is a Siberian cat and has three layers of hair. We tried every Hairball remedy out there and made many trips to the vet to no avail. The last option given by the vet was to shave his hair off ... Not an option we wanted to take!

We tried giving him Laxatone, Pumpkin, and 'Intense Hairball food', plus brushing him daily. Then one day we were talking with our Pet Store where we buy his food and they suggested 'CocoTherapy' Organic Coconut Oil. WOW! Amazing results!

We started him on 1/4 tsp daily per the instructions to start slowly then work up to the recommended daily amount (1 tsp per ten pounds). He did vomit up another Hairball the first week, then we upped his dosage to 1/4 tsp twice a day. We continued to increase his dosage until we got him to one tsp daily. We noticed when we went from 3/4 tsp to 1 tsp Sami became more lethargic and ended up vomiting up liquid just three days after being on 1 tsp. All in all, Sami was two days short of six weeks from his last vomit. I totally believe that last 1/4 tsp added put him over the edge and made his stomach upset because he didn't vomit up a Hairball but liquid only. We immediately reduced his intake of Coconut oil and he is thriving on it.

For Sami, being almost thirteen pounds, his tolerable limit is 3/4 tsp daily, which we divide up to 1/4 tsp three times daily. So if you use the Coconut oil, adjust according to what your pet will tolerate for optimum health.

We are so thankful for CocoTherapy Organic Coconut Oil! Sami not only has NOT vomited up any Hairballs in six weeks but his Hairballs are coming out through his stool. He is a very happy boy!
